Perth Mint continues their successful Australian Koala series with a new design for 2018. The first year in the series to feature .9999 purity, this release is sure to continue the series' rich tradition of success.

Each year features a new design, adding collectibility to the .9999 fine Silver content. This year's issue has a limited mintage of 300,000 coins, making them much more collectible as a bullion coin.

• Obverse: Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
• Reverse: Portrays a koala sitting on the branch of a eucalyptus tree surrounded by gum leaves. The inscription "Australian Koala", The Perth Mint's "P" mint mark, the 2018 year-date, and the .9999 purity are also featured in the design.

Authentic Feature

This coin includes an authentication feature on the reverse in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter. Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.

Presentation & Mintage

This Australian Koala 2018 1oz Silver Bullion Coin is presented in an individual protective acrylic capsule & comes with its own individual bullion bag.

Production will cease when the mintage is fully sold or at the end of 2018, after which The Perth Mint will ‘declare’ the total number made.
